Gosh, this place is like an archaeological dig. I should've mentioned a long time ago that I'm actually updating elsewhere.

So it turns out that Livejournal doesn't have anywhere near the number of features I'd hoped for, so I'm using TypePad instead. It feels better using TypePad anyway, since I've been using MovableType for so long.

Well, I've just talked to the people at Internode, and my internet connection goes away on November 15th. So that's officially the last day of home-hosted fatcaterpillar.org. In the next couple of days I'll tell dyndns.org to redirect all requests to fatcaterpillar.org to this livejournal. So if you find yourself here and wonder what the hell is going on, that's the reason. You should be able to continue to use fatcaterpillar.org, and when I resurrect my home-hosted site in January you'll automatically go back there. Lovely.

Well, it looks like the internet connection at our home here in Adelaide will be shut down on or near November 15th, so my home-hosted fatcaterpillar.org site will go down then. I won't be able to resurrect it until after we've settled into a new house in Perth, which is likely to be around the end of January. So in the mean time I'm going to keep my journal going here at livejournal. That way I'll be able to keep every one up to date from the road.

In the mean time, the action is still all at fatcaterpillar.org.
